Cam Crockford is a design entrepreneur, artisan metalworker and long-time fabrication partner for top tier interior designers and brands. Drawing from his industrial design training and deep experience with high-end metalworking, Cam began his career bringing to life the visions of local artist Tom Fruin. Most notably, Cam assisted Fruin in the creation of his iconic stained-glass water tower in Dumbo. Soon after, Cam began engineering and constructing light fixtures for multi-disciplinary designer Billy Cotton. This blossomed into a long-standing partnership, which provided a springboard for Cam to open his own studio in the beloved Brooklyn Navy Yard. Cam’s practice has grown and diversified and he now designs and manufactures lighting and furniture of his own; including custom high-end furnishings for leading NYC interior designers and architecture firms.
Designed to replicate the childhood game of the same name, the Pick Up Sticks is a beautifully created collection and is both simple and dramatic.
