Kim Lambert is the founder, principal and creative director of Kim Lambert Design, a Toronto-based studio celebrated for its refined, emotionally resonant interiors rooted in soulful minimalism. Since establishing the firm in 2007, she has been recognized for crafting deeply considered, highly personalized spaces that embody quiet elegance and purposeful depth.
With more than two decades of experience—including extensive work in global luxury and boutique hospitality—Kim Lambert brings a refined, contemporary sensibility to every project. Her approach is guided by a passion for ambiance and narrative, and shaped by a disciplined sense of restraint. Her spaces are timeless, poetic, and inviting—crafted with intention and choreographed for harmony. Ornamentation is used sparingly and meaningfully, curated to elevate rather than distract, allowing each element to stand confidently on its own.
Expanding her vision beyond interiors, Kim Lambert has introduced her first furniture collection, The Willow Collection—a series of limited editions inspired by the tension between the natural grace of Art Nouveau and the bold clarity of Brutalist architecture. Developed in collaboration with Hollace Cluny, one of Canada’s most respected design showrooms, and Nick Day, a skilled furniture maker and craftsman known for his deep respect for material, precision, and process, the collection reflects a natural extension of Lambert’s aesthetic philosophy: form grounded in meaning, and ornament rooted in soul. Designing this collection for Hollace Cluny was both an honour and a deeply aligned creative partnership.
The Willow Collection reflects Lambert’s continued exploration of grace within space, essential form, structural clarity, and storytelling—where the line between furniture and atmosphere begins to blur.
