Reinaldo Sanguino was born in Caracas, Venezuela and studied at the School of Visual Arts in Cristobal Rojas in Caracas. In 1992, he received a scholarship to attend the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Isle, Maine. After returning from Maine and completing his Bachelor of Arts from Cristobal Rojas, Reinaldo relocated to the United States. He has lived in Deer Isle Maine, Los Angeles, Tucson, Miami, Washington DC and New York City where he currently works.
