Born from playful experimentation with vintage lighting components, Apparatus is a New York based design studio led by Gabriel Hendifar and Jeremy Anderson. Hendifar's background in fashion and interior design and Anderson's background in public relations, make them a perfect fit.
The Cylinder Series is a system of fixtures that elevate the experience of functional lighting. Directional light emanates from recessed points within the simple metal forms. Their streamlined structure and hefty scale allow these pieces to stand-alone or be grouped together, serving as primary or secondary light sources. A weighty brass canopy and adjustable pivoting head cast light downward.
