Minima 2 Collection

A curious object with luminosity and poise, Minima Lightform 2
by Patkau Studio is a ceiling lamp that softly illuminates any
indoor space. The name Minima tells the story of its surface; its
sinuous form is the minimum 3D surface between 2D curves.
Crafted using a proprietary process, Minima’s subtle illumination
results from graded filtration through its diaphanous skin.
Each lamp is made by hand at Patkau Studios in Vancouver.

Made by Patkau Studio

Patkau Studio is more than a division of our architectural practice. It is a way to bring our deep fascination with materials, form, and craft into greater focus and accessibility.

Each piece develops out of an experimental process by which every detail is considered and refined, the design evolving through making. Furniture ideas often emerge concurrently with architectural designs.

Our aim is to enrich spaces with elegant and articulate functional objects that invite visual, tactile, and emotional engagement.

Patkau Studio furniture is made in-house at the Patkau Design Lab in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
